Another species of lab animal to benefit from a Refinement:   smaller tags, nonsurgical placement, no lost IDs.

•Gerbils have been used in stroke research,  parasitology, infectious diseases, epilepsy, brain development and behavior, and hearing.

One of a series of gerbils gets their digital ID scanned on a Somark  RFID reader. 

The unique 24-character ID appears in the background on the Somark LinkTo app.
